Kjeringi Open
Kjering Open is the world’s largest mountain telemarking race. It takes place on a weekend in the end of April each year.

Who is suitable for the race?
The race is open for everyone over 10 years old. But our experience as organizers tells us that you should wait until you turn 14 years old. The walk up to the start of Kjeringafjell is also so demanding that only very few under 12 years old are able to go through with the first stage. For telemark skiers the day begins with a 3-hour hike to Kjeringafjellet (1314 meters above sea level) before the race starts.
