Sognefjord Hotel is idyllically situated on a peninsular stretching out into the Sognefjord, the longest and deepest fjord in Northern Europe, also called “the king of the fjords”. For those wishing a mountain and fjord vacation, the Sognefjord Hotel is perfectly located for day trips to some of the most beautiful scenery in Norway, including the Nærøyfjord, the Flåm Valley and the Jostedal glacier.
Sognefjord Hotel is a modern hotel. The hotel has a tennis court, rowing boats and bicycles to hire, an indoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness room. We offer conference facilities for up to 85 persons. The hotel’s dining room seats 200 guests. Nearly all our 55 rooms have fjord views, and all rooms are equipped with TV, radio and tea/coffee making facilities. The Eggum family owns and runs the Sognefjord Hotel, and we bid all our guests a warm welcome and a very pleasant stay by the Sognefjord.
